Another thing I did, was pick up trash at Santee Lakes. I went around with my dog and my mom and I picked up almost every peice of trash I found. Many people say what I was doing and I think they got inspired to not just throw their trash on the ground, but actually make an effort and throw it in a trash can. Dont ask me how I know that I inspired them, it was just the look on their faces and their reactions when they saw me. I think I really helped the enviroment by showing others how good it is for the enviroment to pick up those peices of trash that are polluting our earth.
The last thing I did, was volunteer at a church in down town, to help feed what the society would call "poor." Me and Caitlin helped poor and serve soup; and wash a dry dishes. It doesnt seem like a lot of work, but trush me, it was. We were there from 11:00pm-3:00pm. The people we served seemed very greatful, and all though some of them seemed to take advantage of the "Help the Homeless" day, I think overall, we did a great deed. Some people dont realize how many homeless people there are in San Diego, and when you actually open your eyes, you will be shocked. But what we did was so worth all the time and effort.
